I have played major games on and off for about forty years, and the instrument has become a companion that I always return to. For more than ten years, I have held song courses at Nääs, something that has become a recurring tradition every summer. We mostly play songs from the Nordics, and the structure of the Nääs courses is based on learning by ear, by seeing how the songs are played, and with the help of sheet music.

The idea for NordicTunes was born out of these courses. I wanted to create a similar arrangement for major players online, where you can easily learn different songs, regardless of level or experience. NordicTunes uses the same principles as the courses at Nääs – with hearing, viewing and sheet music as support – so that everyone can find a way that suits them.
